This picture was taken the day he proposed!! I never thought it was going to happen!
We took a day trip to Rehoboth Beach with my friend Brittney, and spent almost the entire day on the beach. I knew the proposal was coming, I just didn't know when. He waited until the last possible minute. Brittney had walked away to find a present for someone, and it was just the two of us watching the waves. He was super fidgety, and I was getting nervous. I kept saying we had to get going, and he kept telling me to wait. Finally, he got down on one knee and did it!! He told me he loved me, and that I was his best friend and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me!
Of course, I must add, in true Kelly style, as he got all choked up I started laughing at him, and said "You're so gay!!" amongst my own tears. (Honestly, neither of us could imagine me not saying it!)
